Parent Coordinators

At Bay View we greatly value the involvement of our parent body as we know that children are more successful in school when their parents are involved in school work and activities. To this end, Coordinators are chosen by the parents of each grade level at the Orientation in August. These Coordinators meet with Ms Safia Shaikh and Mr Shahpur Jamall and act as a link between the administration and the parent body.

Parent Coordinator duties include:

• Traffic Duty : Primary School parents help children enter school premises safely during the busy morning traffic. It is the Parent Coordinators who organise the schedule and communicate with the parents of their class to ensure this essential service to our students runs smoothly.
• Class Outings : Coordinators arrange a meeting with all the parents of their class to arrange a class outing to promote a sense of community and ‘family’ in the group. An outing is planned for each term of the academic year.
